2016 Nascar League Rules
1. The League Cost is $40 for the Season
2. Money and Daytona 500 Picks Must Be In By 12:00pm CST 2/12/16
3. You are allowed to pick a driver up to a MAXIMUM of 2 times for the season (If you pick a driver more than 2 times, you get zero points!)
4. Picks must be in by 5:00PM CST the Thursday before each race (you are more than welcome to send picks in a few races in advance if you like)
5. You can change your pick up until Pick deadline (see rule 4).
6. If you do not send a pick in for a race, your pick from the previous week will carry over. If you have picked that driver 2 times already you will get zero points.
7. If the driver or car you picked is penalized championship points due to any infraction for what happens on the track or effects the points of themselves or other drivers in that race, you will be penalized the same amount of points up to a minimum final point value for that race of zero (0).
8. For each race you get the points awarded to the driver you choose. The chosen driver must be on the entry list to recieved points. If the chosen driver does not start the race, but the car does, you get the championship points for that car / team. If you choose a driver that does not receive points for the Sprint cup series, due to receiving points in a different Nascar series, you will get the points a Sprint Cup driver would receive.
9. A 2pt bonus will be awarded to you if the driver you pick wins the pole for that race. Points will be awarded for rained out qualifying events, NO points will be awarded for a pole selected by championship points.
10. The field will be reset for the last 10 races of the season. There will be 16 positions battling in the chase for the championship. The top 10 people will automatically be granted a position in the chase for the championship. The final 6 positions (wildcard positions) of the chase will be awarded to the people with the most wins from 11th place on down. If there are less than 6 people with wins the remaining positions will be filled by the highest total points with no wins until all 16 positions are filled. Tie breaker will be most 2nd place finishes.
11. Point resetting will go as follows 1st place through 16th place will all reset to 2000pts and 17th through the rest of the field will be separated by 4pt increments. 3pt bonus will be awarded for each race that you picked a winner through the first 26. Positions 11-16, (wildcard positions) will not receive bonus points for wins. The bonus points for wins will be added to your score after the points are reset.
12, After the first five races (Challenger Round) of the chase, positions 9-16 will be eliminated from contention for the championship. At which time they will compete in a separate bracket (Challenger Bracket) for the final 5 races. At the end of the season 9th place will get a payout. Remaining drivers in the chase will have points reset to 3000. No bonus points rewarded for wins. After the final race, the top 5 drivers will receive a payout. See rule 14 for payouts
13. End of Season Tie Breakers will go as follows 1st – Most winners picked during the chase. 2nd – Most winners picked for the season. 3rd – Highest total points for the entire season.

15. The website for the league is www.jacksfantasysports.com, cost ($65) will come out of entries. I will do my best to keep up with the webpage, but some weekends I may not be in town so there won't be an update until I get back.
16. The Payouts will be as follows: 1st Place 45%, 2nd Place 22%, 3rd Place 13%, 4th Place 10%, 5th Place 6%, 9th Place (Challenger Bracket) 4% & 17th Place - $40. (Percentages are of the total money minus website costs and minus $40 for 17th place winnings with no entry cost for me for running the league
